Beau Burchel of Gaston, Indiana was booked on several preliminary felony theft charges. Final charges will be decided by the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office. This comes after Burchel stole a box truck with over $12,000 worth of alcohol from Cheers Bar in Muncie, Indiana. Muncie Police soon after found Burchel hiding in a brush line near Meadow Farms, a mobile home park. Burchel told police that he intended to sell the liquor and beer from the truck to pay off his drug debt.
