Sean Harris, 62, was arrested (Indian River County Sheriff) charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and jailed on $50,000 bail (Indian River County Jail) after shooting a man in the hip with a .357 during a family Christmas get together. Other family member and attendees stated that Harris was confrontational with multiple people, but he also had words for a man about his pants hanging low. The man removed himself from the home but was later targeted by Harris in a shooting when the same man tried to break up a fight outside of the home in which Harris was also involved with another family member. The 32-year-old man is expected to recover.
