'1000-lb Sisters' Star Arrested On Multiple Charges In TN

A reality TV star and a man were arrested on Monday after Crockett County deputies found illegal drugs in their car at the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were requested to respond to the Safari Park where Amy Slaton Halterman, a TV star on the TLC reality TV show, “1,000-Lb Sisters,” was bitten by a camel. When they arrived, they were “immediately overtaken” by suspicious odors coming from the guests’ vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, Halterman and Brian Lovvorn were arrested. She’s been charged with illegal possession of Schedule I, illegal possession of Schedule VI, and two counts of child endangerment under 8 years old.
